Esquire (12 Issues)

I ordered a subscription before Christmas and I still have not recieved the first issue. I guess I should cancel it? What say you, amazon staff???? Lame!!!

2 years is a long time to have a subscription for. I started not liking this magazine after three months and I am looking forward to not getting it in the mail. The magazine has nothing in it. It's not to my liking. I would take it on the train to the city and it would only keep my attention for 2 minutes. I'd rather look at all the trees pass by that read one of these dumb articles.

I suppose this isn't a product review exactly, but I was supposed to receive this at a reduced rate after buying something else, and only received one issue, even after contacting Amazon, and the magazine subscription dept.

Used to be a great magazine with great articles.Now most of the magazineis lots of gibberish with little insight into the human psyche.

I am giving Esquire four stars because it is so cheap, and occasionally features well written award winning articles. In general, each issue is filled with ads that serve to subsidize the cost of the magazine to subscribers. Which is why I am getting this magazine at less than $0.40 an issue, which doesn't even cover postage. I subscribe to Esquire for the occasional article that is insightful and illuminating. You get what you pay for. Pros - Cheap- Literary Tradition- Occasionally features well written articlesCons - Full of Ads- Most articles are boring
