It's a great camera that I've had no problems with so far. Love the battery charger and not having to use double A batteries. Thus not throwing away batteries away anymore. Also really like the 3x optical zoom in addition to the 10x digital zoom. Anyway, a good camera for the average person. Enjoy it, I am.

Takes excellent videos - working with Picasa 3 - can take stills direct from video a plus feature combination. easy to point and shoot. Will allow zooming while taking video. not that way with other video small cameras I have owned. Sharp photo's - need to study owners manual to get full benefit of all features. Would recommend to anyone wanting quality pictures for such a small camera..

My husband bought me this camera for Christmas after our 7 year old digital camera started giving me problems. I know he researched it, and I really wanted to love this camera. Here's what's great about it:* It's really small and light to carry around* The battery life is amazing! I love that it can recharge, and lasts forever. (my old one chewed through aa batteries like nobody's business)* It holds a ton of picturesI'm giving it 2 stars because:* Picture quality is terrible! Seriously, my husband gets better pictures from his camera phone.* You can't use the zoom feature at all or the picture will turn out blurry. You may as well not bother to take the picture.* If you're inside, the flash is going to go off. It doesn't matter if you're in a very bright spot, the flash will go, and make the picture washed out.* You have to hold the shutter halfway down for the camera to focus, and THEN take the picture. So much for quick candid shots.Like I said before, I really wanted to love this camera. I'm not a photographer, and needed something small and easy to use, so I could take quick pictures of my family while we were having fun. This camera makes my (not so great) photography abilities look even worse.

I only take casual pics, so im not a camera expert, so for the job that it does, im very satisfied.
