I had saved for 2 months to buy this, one, at the unusual price of $350.08 through Amazon, the cheapest place I found, even Best Buy told me they wouldnt match any price from Amazon, and APPLE itself would not budge on its $399 price ..... so the $49.02 savings right there was a good start. Shipping however was an issue since it came from a 3rd party store out of NY (please ensure they will allow you to pick up the package if you arent able to be home to receive it) and took me 2 days to get the stores to talk to UPS and fix the shipping issue so I could go to the local UPS to pick it up.Besides that, the compatability with Itunes is flawless, it recognized it immediately through my laptop and really only took about an hour the first time to upload 64GB of songs, Videos, Apps, Podcasts and photos. The cool extras of being able to talk into the earphones (surprising sound quality btw) to say Play Artist whatever or Play Songs by Whatever and it understood it is cool, plus the WIFI connection to check emails is awesome and a flawless set up as well, it even plays via bluetooth through my laptop speakers ... and videos will now play through my video bar I have attached to my TV .... the only BAD thing I have found, and have contacted APPLE 3 times about, is when I had a 30GB Classic and 8GB NANO before ... your playlists were verbatim what it shows in your itunes block ... you want your Top 50 to show by Artist, it played that way, by song, it played that way ... etc ..... the problem with the I Touch is that for whatever reason, my playlists are there, but by SONG only and seems to be in no particular order and cannot be changed as I could with the Classic and the NANO .... Otherwise, this is a great technological marvel, plays anything and everything ... battery life is commendable ... plays all day in my car listening to music ... plays 6 or 7 hrs watching videos ... and recharges quickly. A wide range of aftermarket items from IHome really brings out the best in this thing and seems to fit into every ITouch slot provided with unexpectedly great sound quality ... it even has a speaker (if you want to call it that, but I wouldnt recommend it unless you are just showing it off to a few people .. why they added one I dont know) ....... but the small missteps are no match ,... I swore I would never fall into the IPOD trap at all but every model has been more advanced than the last one and Im SOLD!!!!Sure hope this helps someone decide what they need to do .... I fully recommend it!!! ( BUT ONLY FOR ADULTS OR MATURE YOUNG ADULTS ... This is too expensive a device for teens or younger ... they wont appreciate it later)

This is my first IPOD, but my second MP3 player. The IPOD TOUCH is so much more than just an MP3 player. The 64gb model was a little spendy, but it is among my favorite toys now. Considering everything that it does and how much memory it has, it was money well spent. The games, apps, podcasts, WI-FI and e-books are great! I take quite a few pictures and I really enjoy having them organized into albums, to enjoy looking at at anytime. Good job Apple. I wasn't to impressed, with how long Amazon took to get it to me though. It took ten days to get here, but the shipping was free. If I knew that they were going to take that long, I probably would have paid for shipping. Whoever packed it did a lousy job. They used the clear big bubble packing strips. There were three bubbles, with two of them flat. The little IPOD box was bouncing all over in the bigger shipping box, with very little protection. The IPOD that Amazon sent me actually turned out to be defective. After turning it off, it would turn back on after about thirty minutes and be playing music until I would turn it off again. Then it would come back on in another half hour. Over and over again. I don't know if it had anything to do with the way that Amazon packed it. I took the IPOD Touch to our local Apple Store and Apple exchanged it for a new one, without any hassle. Apple had very good customer service. My new one works like it should.

Love the iPod... my first. Does everything I wanted. Only later did I discover that the larger MB iPods have the built-in microphone that would permit Skype and other voice apps. Now, I can plug in an external microphone, but if I had known prior, I would have opted for the built-in one. I have been able to select 'free' apps and download my music via iTunes. Found this fairly easy! Very pleased. Bought this for me, but my husband, who would never get on the computer but had knowledge of it, has it in his hand all the time!!! I can hardly get it away from him. I just might have to buy myself another one!

I purchased this IPod for my 14 yr. old daughter and she loves IT!! Its easy for her to use, she can access the internet, play all her favorite songs and not bother me! jejeeThanks amazon for the great price and fast delivery service!

I have been thinking about the Ipod Touch for awhile. I planned on using it mostly for my music collection, but upon receiving it and using it, I discovered a whole world of applications just waiting for me~many of them free and most at a low cost. I wish the battery lasted a little longer, but it re-charges quickly. It is definitely a hit!
